I was born and raised in Chula Vista, CA.  I am so happy to be back teaching at LdV! I started subbing at LdV in 2017 and taught 5th grade in the 2018-2019 school year. This past year, I had the amazing opportunity to teach 2nd grade in England. This was something I’ve always wanted to try and the experience has opened my eyes to many new ideas. I believe that all students deserve the same quality education. My teaching philosophy is centered around the “whole child” and I believe that the key to success is building a strong teacher-student relationship. I like to keep a positive approach to life and use this to inspire my students to have a growth mindset and to never give up!In my spare time, I like to travel the world with my wife, read books on the beach, hang out with my two cats, and watch sports.
